I HAVE A PROFESSION, I ALSO HAVE A JOB

This project, implemented within the scope of the European Union grant programs, is the "Contracting Authority" of the IKG PRO - Program Authority grant projects, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MoLSS) European Union and Financial Assistance Department is the Operation Beneficiary, and the Gaziantep Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen are the Grant Beneficiary. It is carried out based on a contract signed between (GESOB) in Ankara on 20 October 2016.

The general goal of this project is to increase the social integration and/or employability of disadvantaged people, facilitate their access to the labor market and remove the obstacles to their entry into the labor market.

The specific goals of the project are;

Increasing the employability, employment and labor force participation rates of disadvantaged people and facilitating their entry into the labor market,
Removing the obstacles that prevent disadvantaged people from entering the labor market,
Increasing knowledge about the situation of disadvantaged people in the labor market,
It is the reduction of all forms of discrimination against disadvantaged people and groups that require special attention in the labor market.
Within the scope of our project named "I HAVE A JOB, I ALSO HAVE A JOB", the following basic activities such as vocational training practices of target groups, entrepreneurship training, certification and information seminars will be carried out in line with general and specific goals.

CNC Machine Tools and Programming Training, 600 hours, 15 men, 1 group,
General Electric Arc Welding Training, 304 hours, 15 men, 1 group,
Automotive Electrician Training, 608 hours, 15 men, 1 group,
Straight Sewing Machinist Training, 336 hours, 20 women, 1 group,
Skin Care, Manicure and Massage Techniques Training, 528 hours, 20 women, 1 group,
Entrepreneurship Training, 32 hours, total of 40 women, 2 groups,
Seminar on removing prejudice in disadvantaged groups, stakeholders, 100 people
Seminar on removing obstacles to job search and access to work, family members of the target group, 100 people,
Within the scope of the project, participants who participate in vocational training activities and successfully complete and receive certificates will be directed to employment in relevant sectors, and willing women who participate in entrepreneurship training will be guided to establish their own businesses.

At the beginning of the vocational training activities, an information meeting will be held to inform the public and promote the project, and at the end of the project, a closing meeting will be held regarding the project outputs and results.

The total budget of our 12-month project is 208,456.50 euros. 195,949.11 euros of this budget is a grant, and the remaining 12,507.39 euros is co-financing by GESOB.
